Chase is a human who has been infected with a parasite that lives in his bloodstream. The parasite increases the natural abilities of its host such as their regeneration, speed and five senses but in exchange, the parasite feeds on the hosts blood causing the host to crave blood themselves.

After Masahiko, Chase is the sweetest guy you'll find in the Tachibana Household. Loving and self-sacrificing, Chase will do anything to see those he cares about happy, even at the expense of his own happiness. Sadly, as a result, Chase is left heartbroken over and over again as he throws on his brave face and watches those his heart yearns for fall into the arms of somebody else (usually after a gentle push from Chase).
