As always, your non-pinup art and landscaping is breathtaking and evocative. The angle of this piece lends itself well to interpretation, whilst the intimacy between excavator and what we presume to be his partner feels natural and uncomplicated despite the gaping maw close by. I bet you will get this a lot, but the first thing I thought of was the finality to the Chilean rescue attempt; I pictured the couple standing there as one of the rescuers, having finished taking the last trapped miner out of the cave, coming back to his wife who was waiting patiently for her rescuer husband to come back, looking into his eyes and be glad that he was able to help retrieve the miners and still come back home to her. This is what first came through my head when I saw your work.
