Description King Giddy Kong is an ancient Gigantopithecus Kong who was the King of Donkey Kong Island thousands of years ago being the owner of the Golden Temple before he ended up getting frozen on top of the Island's Gorilla Glacier. After spending over thousands of years trapped in the ice, the chunk containing him fell into the ocean after an avalanche, and after thawing, he swam to the shore of Donkey Kong Island and befriended the Kongs. Accepting Donkey Kong as the new ruler King Giddy Kong took up residence in the Golden Temple once again
