Attempts no. 6!!Digital lineart and coloring~
Testing watercolor style~ One layer painting. Ahh, if only I didn't make the character's outline bolder. OTL
I planned to draw only mountain landscape, but somehow my hand moved on drawing Gintoki.
Gintoki on journey, assuming he was infected with the wart too. LOL.

It is~ I recalled a chinese ink painting I saw at my friend's house and then attempted to do the same. But Gintoki was added unintentionally. So here you see, the journey!

Yes, his hair is the hard part to do!! Adjusting his curls and the hair's shadow is a lot of work to do!

I actually like the outline of the character, it was one of the things that I thought made the picture look good. It's not too bold so it gives it an old-timey etching feel. I also think your digital lining is improving. This is really pretty. The composition is great, and I think it really does have that watercolor feel to it. I like the subtle values. Your other digital ones have been sketchy, but this one feels like a finished piece. I wish I could do things so neatly. Nicely done!

Ah, that's because I didn't do any sketches for the landscape. I used the 'ol water' tool to create mountain since it was only the shape of triangle, then inked it with smaller density.
