Magic green melting the windows on my country bus ride to the Baltic Sea through Mecklenburg’s meadows, Germany, November 2019.

For a better view, I prefer the front or elevated seats in the middle. Long distance busses are special experiences though, as in contrary to trains, one cannot stand up and walk around for a long time. And often these busses show individualizing characteristics such as funny decorative items or the smell of cigarette smoke that just can’t be eradicated by airing. Further, you might be favored by the “King of the roads”’s taste of music or local commercial radio. Besides, there’s some more small talk and interaction with the passengers.
