So life-like. I have always liked realistic-meets-cartoony artwork. I think you did an amazing job on this. In fact, it is definitely one of my favorites of yours. I keep half-expecting to see its whiskers twitch and its fur move up-and-down as it breathes. The lighting and the texture of the fur are amazing. The proportions are spot-on! The angle of this drawing works really well for this. Great foreshortening too!!! Its fur looks so soft and touchable. I really like how detailed this is. I could definitely spend hours admiring this.

Any chance you'll turn this rat into an OC?

Ahh! I see. Well, I'm pretty sure I shall be doing more realistic-cartoony art in the future, so keep an eye out for it.

Same here. Rats are so under-appreciated by some people. Folks just need to give 'em a chance, as they really are wonderful pets!
