Kikyou looks so beautiful in this image. I believe it's because her eyes aren't narrowed, wether it be from hatred or sorrow, and more aware and relatively pleased. Also, the stark background gives her a heavenly glow, so you instantly think about her miko powers.

I've been looking through your gallery, and I love this piece, it is so simple but it really is beautiful. Your choice of colours (not only in this one, others too!) have this wonderful pastel quality that reminds me of an early autumn afternoon. I don't usually favor Kikyou very much (must be residual resentment for Inuyasha's indecision and playing both ends) but you almost make me like her with this pic. ^_^
