Honor Harrington is a general in a Sci Fi serie who fights bad guys in solar systems far away, and her pet is a tree cat, a semi-intelligent being from the land where she comes from.

It's a serie of several books, and some of them are really good others are awful, the writer seem to have a really uneven class. (If it is one writher that is, it might as well be a group using the same pseudonyme) And it's hard to tell which is which, I've read some kickass stories with her and then the next one might be dull as pap.

да нет, именно жадность, если ты нарисовала бы бесплатно, издательство не отмыла бы немного денег через "художника"
который, честно сказать, такую обложку нарисовал, что и покупать не очень хочется -_-

Нет, тут дело в банальном раздолбайстве. Художник их славится своей криворукостью. И картинка эта не картинка, а коллаж гадостно отфотошопленный. Самое смешное, что в книге вписано имя художника [хорошего] который не имел к ужасу этому никакого отношения. Его имя приписали из-за того же раздолбайства, а у человека репутация пострадала. Не думаю, что даже реальный автор свое имя на такую картинку захочет поставить.
