Description
This painting was requested by a friend of mine about 2 months ago for christmas. I asked him what he thought of a certain sketch while we were looking in my art book. Nearly everyone i had showed before said they didnt like it (i admit, it was ugly, it looked like a frog, but thats why i loved it) but he liked it a lot. I was so happy and i agreed to his request of painting the character for him

What he told me he would like is my normal style character, with bold outlines instead, and those two colors in that background pattern. (however i think the red was slighty off. should have been pinker also i think the band on the hat should be light blue..) The painting will be mounted in a white frame : D

I thought the bold outlines would ruin the character at first but instead it made it pop out. im in love with these techniques together. Pastels are something i use often however i normally hate saturated colors and bold outlines.

29 x 36cm (there is more area with the stripes however i cropped it here for submission)
