Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm by Yukito Kishiro - arguably one the best mangas out there. It puts the mainstream crap full of ridiculously perfect pretty-boys and useless bimbos to shame. If you like intelligent sci-fi epics with beautifully detailed art, twisted action-packed storylines, all kinds of sophisticated references and, of course, the cutest heroin you'll ever lay eyes on, I GREATLY urge you to read it. I promise you won't be disappointed, far from it.Anyway, enough pointless plugging. All comments welcome.
