I'm still experimenting with creating panormas. Lightroom has made this quite easy for me! I love how getting close in like this preserves the colours across a narrow band of sky better than taking a single shot and cropping it in. You get a bit of the darker sky closer to the water as well as the gradient shift from the oranges to the purples above.
