My Princess once again, Hizaki
I love him so much
Okay, so, this is in no way meant to be a perfect scan, for the following reasons:
This drawing had ink spilt over it,
which not only ruined some of the pencil work, as well as making it all pretty like a rainbow -_-,
but also caused the paper to ripple in the drying process.. how evident this is to you all, I don't know.. it's obvious to me.
Also. LOL at the guitar, ignore that bit. I don't ever use rulers. I always draw straight lines free-hand. so yh.
makes for wonky strings ect.
ALSO.. as I moan in all my comments, my scanner is shit, it likes to make everything grainy and horridly contrasted.
So rant over, I hope you like what is left of my once seemingly-going-well drawing. Which I spent a lot of time on.

I use a mixture of pencil and graphite, pencil for the really light bits like skin
I love graphite though, I never draw without it <3 its much nicer than pencil I think.

Awh! Sure there are some really great people, but that doesn't mean you aren't great too. I love the picture.
I do that too, but I'm still not that great at it. To be honest, I just recently graduated from using a regular 2B school pencil for everything to using pencils of various softnesses. It's pathetic. (-.-)

hey, its not pathetic, I dont take any notice of what pencil I use.
People ask me sometimes and I am like ....iono? which ever I found first? XD
I think its good if you can use any type, I think what is pathetic, is these elite artists who need the top range of everything.

I'm so glad you could fix it in the end. It looks great, don't worry about it. I can't even tell where the ink was (maybe at the nose, it doesn't look quite right). You drew the details beautifully and the eyes are gorgeous. There's nothing to be disappointed by. It is definitely not inferior to your last drawing.
Maybe we could trade scanners, mine makes drawings look much better than in reality.

Make that 3 Hizakis, I have another ancient one in my folder. Considering all the gorgeous pictures he has that I want to draw I think I'll end up filling my house with him (not that it's a problem) 
Mine is cannon too, from 2005. But it's really good.
Oh, I understand, I know moving back to uni is a bother. Btw, what are you studying if you don't mind?

I don't think you understand how ridiculously slow I am. It takes me months to complete something that can be done in a month or even less.
I doubt that I could draw this picture like you in the amount of time you did.
What? You're not slow. How long did this take you? A week at the most? I don't think you realize how much talent and potential you have. I'd like to see you concentrate more, you'd surpass most of the graphite artists on this site if not all

This one took a couple of weeks on and off, my fastest one was probaly the last Jasmine one, which I did in 3 days xD
But thats because I was working toward his 1 year date. <3
I am slow really, lol, it takes me ages to decide what I am doing, and I always change my mind and move onto other bits, leaving sections unfinished
You could draw this picture 100 times better than me, I think we both know that XP

Use a few pieces of regular drawing paper over the drawing and Iron it, like you would iron a shirt.

I was considering ironing it actually, but I think for now at least, this scan didn't come out too terribly.

Not at all terrible, it is gorgeous! Probably the only thing would be in real life, if it was in a frame and warped... but ironing has worked for me in the past. I have a drawing that is on pink paper that I spilled ink. I used some of the splatter and made it 3D with a shadow on each droplet. i had to iron that one. the ink soaked into the paper so i ripped it out and put a piece of pink paper behind it.
