When you do these, do you use pencil first then go over later in ink? Or straight away ink? What do you do if a mistake occurs?

well first I do a reather rough sketch in pencil not including all the details and designs, just the shape of her body and eyes and mouth and nose and then I do all the rest with my ballpointpen and ink
if a mistake occures I usually throw the picture away, or I try to draw over it or mix it into the drawing so it appears as if it belongs there...

I used ballpointpen and ink...and the backround is a photomanip...thank you, I am glad you can read her lips..when I drew it, I look at her and thought just one word :"stay." ...I've never gotten such a clear message from a drawing

Oh wow. You really have a knack for this style. It's wonderful. The detail in the strands of hair and the pattern on the shirt look time consuming, yet very worth it. The eyes are stunning! They jump right out, and express so much about her. She looks sad, hopeless almost. She's beautiful.
If I were in charge, this would get a DD. Amazing.

this took me some time...I can never really tell cause I usally don't draw a piece from start to end without breaks...but I guess 3 hours or something...this particular one was kinda tricky though cause my first tries to draw her all sucked, she didn't really want to come out...

whey, now I'm excited...well when you're an artist you do, you draw, you paint, but a selfportrait always seems so emotional and I never thought that my selfportraits fit anything. I don't know any artist who would do something like this. I was very jealous on freaking muse when you drew her, it looked so much like her and so different at the same time...just like your work of tori amos...i just love the way you're drawing.....but i didn't think it would last that long...3 hours is long I think, but the result is just amazing.
I could post some actual pictures of me, maybe you like one...but its ok if you don't feel any inspiration...I just thought it would be so great....
