Nicely done. I noticed this rendition makes her a lot more chibi than she did in Disgaea (or perhaps it's just my imagination).

The background is my favorite part of this...it's too bad about the jpg thing though u__u What program did you use for it? There might have been a way to do the background solidly. I like the lighting here a lot, and the way you did her hair and outfit. She's very cute.

Don't think the white border is crappy at all! It makes her look more mistirious and frightening... like she were glowing in the dark.... donno for the rest of us but I'd shure get scared as hell if she popped up right in front of me like that...
