Are you ready? Let’s snow!,Step 1: Create the FrameworkStart by drawing a straight vertical line, and place a dot in the middle of it. Then, draw two diagonal lines to create an X that intersects the dot.If you have a ruler, this is a perfect tool for geometric perfection (and let’s face it, rulers rule!).,,,Step 2: Add DetailsConnect each of the lines you’ve drawn by adding an inverted V-shape in the gaps between each line, relatively close to the center of your snowflake. When you’ve done that, it should create a hexagram in the middle of your snowflake. Next, draw two wider V lines further up on each of the lines, to create the arms (or dendrites) of the snowflake. The V line closer to the center should be slightly longer than the one further away from the center.,,,Step 3: Outline and Finish Your SnowflakeTo complete the snowflake design, draw a connected line around the outside of the snowflake that has sharp, square edges. Create small diamond shapes inside each of the points of the hexagram you created earlier, and then you’re finished! Take a step back and appreciate the symmetric perfection! From here, you can add your own style in lots of different ways. Add more details, make the tips of the arms sharper, color it in—the cloudy, snow-filled sky’s the limit when it comes to snowflakes!,,,,,Now that you’ve created your snowflake, make sure to submit it with the tag #DATutorialSnowflake to get your Profile badge!
