Pencil sketch from a photo. The original photo is of Julianna Margulies, but I didn't really try to make this look like her. This is an older drawing, from 3 years ago. Smudges on the background removed in PS.Version colored in Photoshop with the airbrush: [link] I think that I prefer the uncolored version.

Your Photoshop-paintings are so lovely, all of them, I don't have the energy to comment on them all. But you are fantastic. Acctually, no words can describe how good you are. They aren't strong enough.

The eyelid, nose and mouth are better in this version. She also has more of an expression in her face in this version than in the colored one. Something that I think gives a feeling of precense that (I think) you lost in the colored version... but hey that's just my thoughts...

Nicely done, I love the hair and the very natural feel that she has. The medium also helps to add some sort of artisitic validity to the drawing as well. Charcoal is really tough to work with.

this one is more sensitive aswell as in line as in shadow/light contrasts

Wow that's so nice. I don't know what I like more this one or the coloured version, but this one I take as a fav, because I like so much these handdrawn artworks. Didn't thought that your drawing skill is as good as your airbrush ones, but that defenitely shows me the opposite. Your shading technique is amazing and these hairs are so full of life - hard work I think.

beautiful work. the subject is nice, but your technique is nicer! what particularly caught my attention was your detail on the hair, the lips, and the eyelid.
