Description Watercolors on Arches 14” X 20” 140lbs CP paper.

Based on photo by Ghana-American friend of my son. Colors are more vivid in real life, bicycle wheel looks a bit washed out here. If I adjust colors, man's face will be too dark

Any comments and critique are well appreciated, as always!

Again a beautiful watercolor painting...
Ce qui me plait le plus c'est comment tu as travaillé la lumière, l'ombre du personnage sur la route est très belle...
I love the blur part of the ground, our eyes follow this man from left to right and we finish to look at your painting by beautiful red flowers

There was once a movie by the same name.... this I feel was painted well Millie .... so realistic! you are improving so much

I just vaguely remember that movie, starring Gary Cooper, having that title. My painting might not tell the same story as the movie, but I like the title depicting scorching sun Thank you Karen, I feel DA and comments from members have motivated me to strive harder each time. I might not have done better and better each and every time, but I'm happy to paint

it has done the same for me.... especially my photography..... that movie.. my dad was a fan of Gary Cooper, there is still a photo in my parents collection with him on the photo when he was in holland promoting that film

beautiful - and really conveys the noonday sun too

you know, if you select loosely around his face, feather a little bit, then select "inverse" (or, "invert selection" maybe it's called), then you can increase the color saturation without affecting his face.
