It's always nice to see a child take an adult under his wing and teach him how to explore and enjoy the world.
Great classical mono, Greg.

LOL Yes, you are correct on that one.

How is the lobster season going?

We've had the best weather that anyone's seen for many years: warn and nearly windless.
The catch is nothing special. Total landings will likely be about the same as last year. Prices are very depressed, with the lion's share of the catch sold at $3.75/$4.00 CDN.
The catch is dropping off quickly now. Our first haul was about 1000Kg. Now a haul is less than 200Kg, even though traps are left setting twice as long.
I expect to be finished next week and that's just as well.
We're getting our first snowfall now (10cm down & 5cm+ to come) and I'm quite happy to be ashore once it turns cold. The heaviest sea doesn't bother me but I hate cold more every year.
Now I can go back to playing until I rotate back to Machias Seal Island in February.
Maybe I'll actually edit those zillion photos like I keep promising myself.

I can imagine it gets very cold out there. I wouldn't last an hour, I'm sure.

We all need the hope of getting to those zillion photos! Good luck.
