During an upspike of vampire attacks in Western Europe during the late 18th century, the Hunters' Association would step up to quell the threat. The hunters are a rather independent organization, recruiting anyone who passed examinations from all walks of life. Armed with consecrated weapons from the Church and ancient knowledge of their supernatural foes, they stalk the shadows, slaying things that go bump in the night.
