Marion Steel is the founder and Grand Marshall of the New Empire. She was born and raised on the industrial world of Karagil. Her father had once been a senator and her mother once a the owner of a small merchant company. Both parents felt cheated and abandoned by the Old Republic and believed it to flawed and corrupt beyond repair. When the Empire was first founded and Karagil began to benefit greatly from the new totalitarian system of rule, they became staunch believers in the Imperial Regime and that passed to their one and only daughter. It nonetheless was not long after enlisting that Marion realised the Empire's faults and she has worked hard to ensure the New Empire does not fall down same path.
