Arts are hardly considered art nowadays... Most common people appreciate the contents, not the details... It's sad to know such, but I just try to accept it...

This is really quite beautiful. The details are fantastic, such as the wrinkles in the duct tape, the shading and lighting, and the separate eyelashes. The colors are very nice too, and they compliment each other very nicely.

I know what you mean orz Though I don't think i put much detail into my work now a days, I like that the most. Though i think what makes good art is also the time and effort into it ^P^ I can tell you put effort to your work! You try to pick the best color to match and what effect it is supposed to bring to people.

Is she sick as well as sad? The eyes and bulge? of her true lips show that she is frowning/sad, while the tape has a simple line of a smile. But her hand has something on it as well the dark bags/circles under her eyes which makes me ask if she may be sick or something.

yeah the really high up artsy folk can be a pain with there thoughts on art, but at least there's always the huge majority of regulars like you and me to see art in the more simple way. for fun and entertainment
