“And who gave you that order to attack? What happened had nothing to do with you. You need to stop taking it out on me for things you had absolutely no control over.”

“I’m not taking it out on you,” Ryan protests. “I’m trying to protect you.”

“I don’t need protection.”

“If I may,” a new voice speaks up, startling both of them.

The two of them quickly turn around and find that a new pokemon has snuck up on them, though that likely wasn’t that hard given the argument they had been having. When Michael looks at it she’s somewhat surprised by the sight as it appears to be a Xatu that has approached them. And it takes a moment to recognize that it’s the same Xatu as before. The pikachu then goes about trying to figure out if in the time since she last saw it she’s gotten turned around or if it’s been following her. Even more reason to make a point of re-finding the bag soon. But considering how easily everything’s been able to follow her so far she’s half tempted to wonder if everyone in the forest already knows. Ryan immediately rushes to place himself in front of Michael.

“You stay away from her!” He orders.
