Here's my Onix. This is the first Pokemon I made using no additional stock photos. His body is entirely made up of rocks from the background picture, or rocks that I made on my own. Hope you enjoy!Related content

Hi there Michael, my name is Jasper Speelman, I'm in the development team of the non-profit online Pokémon TCG simulator "TCGOne" (tcgone.net). At the moment we're thinking about creating some custom Pokémon cards for use in the game. We're considering to use your illustration of Onix on one of the cards to match the card frames and text we decided on. i would love to see a photoshop / gimp version with eyes and darker colors

That is wonderfully done. This kind of Pokemon makes more sense to me, as someone who grew up with Pokemon, than the current creatures. At least Onix had a kind of natural camouflage that would have helped him (it?) hide from the researchers scouring the area.
It would be a rather nasty surprise, though, to discover an Onix in the middle of your campsite. Particularly if you've managed to piss it off.
