Frogs serve as very important indicator in any ecosystem. Being so sensitive to climate and especially water changes, any place that has a decline in frogs has something going on. They keep the food chain in balance and control insect populations, which I couldn't be thankful for more. They breathe through their skin, making them sensitive to any pollutants inside the water. A clean water body should contain frogs, and the best we can do to help them thrive is to watch what you put down the drain and never release any substances into their habitat.
