This quickie was just done by drawing the little battery people, the clouds and Battery God; scanning them in, duplicating lots of people and putting them on the masking tape background. It symbolises our dependence on electricity and power.Many people can't see the writing, sooo
Above the people near the lightening it says 'Battery Charging' and on some others it says 'Battery depleting' or 'Battery depleted'.
The symbols on the backs of the figures and the texts are scanned off my old nokia phone.

Awesome concept... I love artwork that represents life related issues. I like the roughness of the piece also... I think it ads to the overall effect. haha.. not all batteries are created equal.

cool, i like the simplicity of the peice yet it conveys a powerful messange. for me it signifies how religion is the fuel for life and society, and how the people need to feel that thereis someone therer to help them. nice work.

Great concept, I love the little people with the 'battery depleted' signs above their heads. I recently had to do a piece with masking tape and drawing for school, and it came out far less interesting than this.

That's a really bizarre idea, but also very clever! I agree with many people that photoshopping or painting it would make the piece seem more finished, but you could also try using this idea in a 3d piece.

Interesting concept, unique and once again very creative. One thing I really like about the actually drawing is the way that all the little people look alike, I know its not easy to draw the same exact thing like that.

i woudl never have guessed what this was about if it wasnt titled anything. I guess its a blantant metephor that people run on unnatural energies liek batteries; they need fuel they need substance, but with the clouds blocking htem, it looks like they ar ein need, but cant see the battery and so they are dieing? it is like life as it is, we need electricity, we need batteries, we need oil to live our daiky lives and we are veyr dependant on it.
