Description
Living through the Great War, outliving her family and ending up in the local asylum, Millie is under the impression of being born under an unlucky star. Constantly playing tug-of-war with her own thoughts and emotions, she eventually takes on the name "Ego" from Freud's theories of the mind. With a peculiar interest in the occult and the otherworldly, it's perhaps not so strange that she ends up befriending two alchemists from a parallel dimension. In their adventures she finds she has a taste for danger, and a morbid curiosity about what may lie beyond this world.
