Description Watercolour and ink on paper - 21x21cm

I've put this in the illustration concept category here on DA but honestly I don't know where to put this. Butterflies are animals but I made these ones up so is it more like fantasy? Since the general idea I had was to illustrate chaos before it happens I'm sort of leaning towards illustration/concept at the moment. I dunno

I think it's deep for each one that can relate it to his personal experience and point of view, it is conceptual for me, whether you want it or not! Simply beautiful and calm vibe, I love it.

I used to have a couple of books like this and though they never gave me any immediate ideas I do feel that it sort of lingers in the back of your head. And it's just really pretty to look at. I'm going to look it through somewhere this week. Thnx!

I like the colours and the way that the butterflies seem about to form a static pattern, but they're all different in subtle ways.

Thanks! I based the butterflies on swallowtails and their basic shape are indeed very much like ivy leaves
