i found inspiration OTL by replaying OOT XDSo i found Sarias costume was really kinda simple so i did a concept of my own design for her wayy more complicated.
I apologize for the lame ass background i just wanted to keep it kinda concept-ey (thats why its so messy im sorry DX) this took me like a day to do....my very first digital painting was of saria and i felt like i should redo it, i might post a before/after improvement thing. however i started one and it was looking horrible then i tried again the next day and it turned out okay.

That title. I'd recognize it anywhere. It's inspired from ChaosDragon's remix of Saria's Song, isn't it?
Anyway, I love that redesign, I've always found that Saria's outfit was pretty simple. You made her older too, didn't you?

Yep, that's the song! Good eye : p and yeah she's a bit older, even though Kokiris aren't supposed to grow old, I felt she would still mature even a bit after the events of OOT. Anything can happen, right?

It was actually inspired by several mash up costumes I saw while browsing deviantart, but that definatley is a beautiful Saria he painted : p

This is part of the reason why I love fan-art and fan redesigns. Sometimes, they blow the audience out of the water and capture the same sense of wonder and enchantment as the original design. This design feels a bit more adventurey and spunky than the original, which is fantastic. In fact, she looks a bit like Link's sidekick, which is pretty friggin' cool.
