The Bou Inania Madrassa in fez (Arabic: faas)I have so much to say about this city that im going to have to do it later
I didnt realise that the cloud was shaped like that till I uploaded it later

its only cropped slightly, I suspect the lens angle was too wide and and my position was not correct which created a warped effect.

Yes!! Much better. Great symmetrical balance between the cloud and the reflection pool, and the beautiful architectural gate as a focal point.

this looks really great. you must have had a great time in morocco. makes me want to go there real bad.
i think would have been even better if you could have managed more of the reflection, but then you would have missed out on that cloud.

Beautiful as always. I am wondering if this one might work better if it were centred? The cloud and fountain/pool(?) are both strangely symmetrical.

I have yet to not be amazed at the artistry in the architecture of that region of the world. Makes America seem so young looking all these places in the east that have buildings several hundred to a couple thousand of years old. ><

I know, I love the feeling when wandering around these places. Damascus in particular is five to six thousand years old, just imagine all those generations of people whom lived this city! poets, writers, artists, kings, intellectuals, traders, thieves, warriors, prophets....not to mention all those untold stories!

It truly is amazing. Essentially we should feel the same when we walk anywhere on this planet because whether the city remains wholly or partially or at this moment is void of existence, there was at least one interesting story there. It could be anything from a human's story or some prehistoric occurrence with dinosaurs that have long been gone. I have the coolest feeling when I find sea glass on the shorelines. That could have been anything that was owned by anyone! A medicine bottle, a poison bottle, a crewman's mug, part of a ship's window. My area doesn't have super old buildings, but I live where the first settlers came to America in 1587 and strangely disappeared. A whole colony gone with only one clue to their absence: the word "Croatan" carved into a tree. Anyway, I'm rambling, but the history of some places is absolutely fantastic.
