Description
One of my favorite battles in Twilight Princess painted in acrylics.This is my entry for Game-Art-HQ’s Traditional Art Contest. Been working on this throughout the past month whenever I got a chance. Can't recall the actual work time though.
I do apologize for the lame image quality, the canvas is too big to scan and all I have is my phone and laptop camera. I'll update as soon as I get a better image.

Tools and materials used:
-18x24 Canvas Board
- Paint Brushes
- Palette and palette knife
- Acrylic Paint – Cadmium yellow med hue, cadmium red med hue, ultramarine blue, titanium white, burnt umber, black
- Matte medium
- Water

matte medium makes the paint less opaque and more transparent so that you could do a transparent glaze and work up layers. this was first painted in black and white then added colour with matte medium. really handy when painting glass or lighting effects! ^^

Hmm, if you want i have quite a challenge for you and there is a deadline as well. It would involve a fighting game character who is not very popular and a part of the biggest video game related art tribute ever done

hyuuuu...I already got quite a bit on my plate already: a ton of unfinished projects, portfolio i gotta worry about, and challenges already in progress, among other things.
i feel like i should be doing more original work as well as oppose to fan art (especially since i cant use fan art in my portfolio) perhaps another time
