I really love the movie and it's the best horror-alien movie ever! I also loled when the icon said "Don't forget to comment". I suddenly heard a creepy Palmer voice saying that. XD

Dude, u drew this? Because if u did, man that is some great job you did, John is my favorite directors. My two favorite movies from him is "In The Mouth of Madness" and of course "The Thing." all of the nasty scenes are my favorite. John Carpenter is the master of horror.

No I didn't. I was just messing around with this picture, which is a screenshot of the movie, when I was creating my avatar. There is no real great thing about it, sorry

Holy shit, man! The mutating Palmer scene was pretty grotesque. But definitely one of the most chilling moments in the movie. Classic movie.

Agreed. Speaking of The Thing, some of Kurt Russel's best lines in the movie is when he says;
"I know I'm human. If you were all these things then you'd just attack me right now. So some of you are still human. This thing doesn't want to show itself; it wants to hide inside an imitation. It'll fight if it has to. But it's vulnerable out in the open. If it takes us all over, then it has no more enemies. Nobody left to kill it. And then it's won."
It's a bit long, but I thought those were some of his best lines in the movie because it sounds so convincing about the tension and anxiety about there being a monster out there somewhere.

Yes, I like the whole part from the point when MacReady comes back from his cabin on to the moment the boss of the group says that he doesn't want to be tied to the sofa for the whole winter. In this time five people die in total. It's marvellous what they were able to create without any visual effects.

Oh yeah! That part! Heh! That was hilarious! And true that about what you said about them being able to create such awesome effects for a movie that dates all the way back to the early 80s.
"I know you gentlemen have been through a lot. But when you find the time; I'd rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!!!"
