Description
This is another coloration collaboration. This time it was a remarkable chap by the name of Tristan Luse, who is a friend of an internet friend, and whom I've never even met online. At my request, he churned out a fantastic drawing of a faceless man in meditation. The rest was yours truly.The galaxies in the background are from the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, which is the deepest view of the visible universe ever.

Edit: I changed it to the 1024x768 version because full-size is just too big. If anybody wants the 1280x1024 version or the full 1600x1200 version, feel free to contact me.

hey this is absolutely synchronistic that i found this picture....recently i just drew a rather large poster size dawing of a man in lotus position with his arms stretched wide and ablank face so ridiculously similar to this it is madness! i was blocked and didnt know what to do next so i havent touched it in weeks. is there any way you would be interested in working your delicious magic on my picture if i scaned it on and sen t it to you? i hope that is not too much to ask but it could be loads of fun! i would be so thrilled if you would grace my canvas with you brilliance!

i like this because it's all crazy busy and colorful, but still has a very serene and peaceful vibe to it. the om's on the ground are a really cool touch too

(and that pretty much goes for all your work, whoever you are.)
a few years back in time, I was inspired to paint the deep field. it was well loved in an exhibition. when people found out what it was, and that it was from a real photo they went all "oohhhhh."

I absolutely adore this. Your reference to the third eye thing reminded me of Tool's 'Third Eye' song... in fact that picture sums part of that song up perfectly I think.
