There's not much to it, once you get to the painting stage. And every painting is done just a little differently, depending on whim, mostly. Glad you enjoyed it.

This is a very interesting walk-through I love how there's a lot of planning involved, but you're still open to just "winging it" when the situation seems to call for it. The results are always very nice!

Masking fluid does the same thing as masking tape, that is, it preserves the white of the paper. Apply it at the beginning of the painting like I've done here, and everything underneath will stay white. Gives you a lot more freedom if you're working with a lot of big, messy washes like I normally use.

You might find it at craft stores. An art store would have it for sure. It's also called frisket.
