There we stoodat a lone island.
Are we both lost at sea?
I stare at you.
You stare back at me.
Are we both shipwrecked
and needing a key?
To the chest,
full of treasure
at the bottom of the sea.
My worries,
they anchor my heart
and I'm sinking,
sinking.
To the ocean floor.
I smile at you
and you smile at me.
Though we're both lost at sea
because of you,
I feel so free.
One day we'll get pass this never-ending sky.
And float above this ocean tide.
