Description
As the Interplanetary Drive was a model designed to send a craft to Jool rather than Duna, and was thus grossly overpowered for the mission, the crew found that they had sufficient deltaV to perform a highly inefficient burn to depart Duna months earlier than the most efficient transfer window. Having completed their burn with a currently targeted periapsis at Kerbin a mere 50,000 meters above the surface, the crew bids farewell to Duna and Ike and settles in for the 275 kerbal day cruise back home.
