Description
Demeter is the goddess of agriculture and the harvest. She is the daughter of Cronus and Rhea. Her main myth is the story of Hades and Persephone, where, after her daughter's kidnaping, she roams the earth in sorrow and refuses to let the crops grow. Once her daughter is returned to her, she gives life back to the world, but only when Persephone is on earth with her.

Demeter's design was the one that has changed the least in the ten years since I first designed her. Green to symbolize nature? Check. Gold to symbolize wheat and the harvest? Check. Laurel leaves and/or wheat shafts in her hair? Check. Cape because it looks cool? Double check.

Made using the Azalea's Dolls Heroine maker. I can't link the game itself because flash is dead (rip), but I used the Y8 browser hack on Azalea's website www.azaleasdolls.com/ .
