Heyooo!This is my entry for 's contest.
This is her original character Blood Lust!
I redesigned her outfit, kind of a Victorian/Gothic Lolita.
This took me SOOOOO long OMG!!!!! I just couldn't get the depth right, and the clouds took me about 5 hours all on their own. GRAH, although I like how they came out. Its a mixture of some brushes I made and your everyday photoshop defaults.
I really wasn't sure what to do with the background...I had some idea's but it just didn't work.
Kinda settled for this one. Can anyone tell me how I could fix the depth of this picture? Seems a bit...flat? Iunno
In any case this took me SOO long. Theres only about 3 days left till the contest is over. I've been working on it continuously for weeks!
I really hope she likes it, I changed the outfit so much...might not be something the character would wear. I was trying to stay in character...but I guess thats up to Strawberry chi XD.

That is damn awesome. I love the shoes. USually I think those curvy-toe shoes are dumb but her shoes are fucking COOL! xD Her whole costume is great though. Very nice pose and composition and coloring. I hope you win.

WOOOT thanks keffyyy! *hugs* And I agree, usually you see those shoes on creepy jester and elf peoples. They just don't look cool....all green and flat. The base of the shoe is modeled after a pair of shoes that I actually own, Soda boots. Check em out on ebay sometime, WICKED BOOTS OMG OMG and super cheap woot.

It doesn't look flat to me at all. I love what you did with her outfit, it reminds me of actual Bloodlust. Your coloring is amazing and that pose looks difficult to draw, but you pulled it off so well!♥♥

I hope that strawberry chi doesnt think the outfit is too far gone. If it was my contest, I'd love someone going so far out with a costume, but thats just me.
Er, as for the flatness....It might actually be the gradients you used. the one in her stockings kind of bugs me...I dunno. It might just be a personal taste thing. lol. (i'm no expert, but I'd say that might be whats keeping it flat-ish)
anyways, great work. I'm sure you'll win......that is unless some fool draws her holding a purple and yellow duck. then you'll lose of course.

The gradients...mmm it doesn't have anything to do with the character, its the background that seems flat. I think its because of the wall being the only thing in the middleground. If I had things in the foreground it might have evened it out more. mmm. blargs
GAHHH no GRAHGSHHSG damn people that pwn me with a duck. I was looking at that again recently and got mad at it all over again lol. Its worse than I remembered. XD

Oh my god, I love it!! The outfit is so creative!! I really like all the details that you put on to it!! The lacy stockings look so soft, and I'm in love with the corset and the top!! *_* 
This really isn't off character though! It actually goes with the storyline that I have in mind for her, and the roses suit her perfectly! The clouds are so amazing, they look so real!!

I forgot to mention that her outfit was styled after a rose because her profile mentioned that she loved them! It wasn't a guess on my part lol. XD
YAY its something she might wear. I wanted to keep her looking tough, yet sexy and maybe a bit of cute on the side hahaa.

cyber/rave? Thats usually tubes, dreads, glowies, mechanical looking things aint it? And cosplay wouldn't be right, its not a fashion its dressing as existing characters. XD this ones got an original outfit.
The frills, corset and cuffs were Victorian stylized. The rest of her is like...elegant lolita with a touch of fantasy I guess lol. A bit of everything...iunno. XD
