I agree I am very excited especially since Chat Blanc comes right after Puppeteer 2Β in production (canon) order! You just know how this will go!
Ladybug will have a heart to heart about how the guy she likes hurt her by admitting to being in love with someone else, making chat angry.
Or maybe Chat will be the one to ask Ladybug about the situation and Ladybug will be harsh with him because she is still hurt. That interaction on top of Adrien's already absent dad probably causing him to be overstressed or push to a breaking point will cause the akumatization.
I can just see it, you know? Can't wait to see Ladybug try and defeat her partner on her own. She's done it before when he was controlled by akumas before, but can she defeat him herself when he is fully in control? It's like the ultimate smack in the face! He is just as trained as her with agility and practice. Every other Akuma, that I know of, never had nearly as much training as the two of them. As long as Chat just has a version of his power, or at least still has cat-like reflexes, it'll be easy for him.

I think Chat Blanc will happen thanks to Hawkmoth and Vulpina (maybe Mayura).
Like, Hawkmoth knows what Chat Noir and Ladybug's biggest fear is (thanks to Sandman). I wouldn't put it past him to use that knowledge to his advantage after something happens to Chat Noir what would already make him susceptible to being akumatised. Just picture it. Hawkmoth calling once more for Vulpina. Vulpina making an illusion to make Chat's nightmare reality. After a bad day, Chat Noir tries to find assurance with Ladybug, only to have her (the illusion) hit him exactly where it hurts. The worst part? Chat will try to fight it. Deny it with all he is worth but the seed of doubt has already rooted, making him fall prey to the corruption. And Ladybug. Oh, she will have an eye-opener. Because Chat will throw words at her, words she can not deny have happened (after all, she has turned him down and led him on, used him basically, multiple times throughout the series). I have this idea in my head that this will be the closest she will come to giving up her miraculous. Just to prove that her partner is worth more to her than her identity (which might be enough for Chat to fight Hawkmoth off). Or something that is an act of true love (as we have seen in Dark Cupid, also works to defeat an evil spell). Love comes in many forms after all.Β
Anyhow, we will just have to wait and see!

Well, we know from the synopsis that Marinette makes a big mistake and will have to pay the price for it. That price being Chat's akumatization. That's why I stand by my headcanon.Β
That being said, I dunno if he'll use Volpina again. He's used her twice already and akumatized her 3 times (once as Chameleon) and we also know he will akumatize a person over 50 times in the same way as before. But while they are transformed into the same Akuma, they always have the same problem.Β
I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't see him using Lila to create illusions Chat may not believe anymore. He's been fooled too many times by illusions and he may start to become more careful now. I do think, however, Hawkmoth may use Lila, as her human self, to start some kind of fight with Marinette in front of Adrien or some kind of conflict. That would be good planning so he can save his Akuma for Chat Noir.

Amazing work! I love the primarily muted. color scheme, how you chose to render his transformation as something tragic and heartbreaking (which makes me remember Stitch 2, where our beloved little Stitch suffered from violent emotional outbursts he feared but could not control). The detail on his bell is awe-inspiring, and I love how you made him look young, and almost childlike in expression. Those eyes, though tainted by darkness, run with very real sorrow as pure tears stream down his cheeks. This is one of the most gorgeous Miraculous artworks I have ever seen. You truly are a master

I don't think this one will, but I have a theory it might happen in the finale, which is only a few episodes later. I mean the Marinette/Ladybug Adrien/Chat Noir one, of course. Chat Blanc would be a good episode for the heroes to find out Hawk Moth's identity, though

You could just check the episode listing on the Miraculous wiki. They're usually super accurate, and only change airdates when the airdates actually change. They don't list stuff that isn't confirmed
But either way, this is the synopsis for Kwamibuster: Ms. Mendeleiev gets akumatized into Kwamibuster. She wants to capture Tikki and Plagg to prove to the world that these magical creatures are real. Ladybug and Cat Noir will have to protect their secret at all costs.
I wish the episodes would at least get released in their proper order. I won't even watch any of season three until the entire thing is on Netflix. I know half of it is now, but I'm still waiting. It's excruciating
