Tanaka Heizo is a high schooler who was drafted into another Rider War, which was happening at the same time as the one involving Ryuki. Using his Advent Deck infused with the power of a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle, he becomes Kamen Rider Odyssey.

By inserting his Advent Deck into the V-Buckle, Heizo transforms into Kamen Rider Odyssey, based on a knight and a Japanese rhinoceros beetle. He is equipped with the Kabuvisor, which appears as a Longsword. Using it, he is able to use the abilities of Advent Cards.
