Let me know if you like the changes or if the older one was better.

Changes are.

I shaded him more EX. The shadow on his chest and the darker colors all over.

I gave him a sort of glow to show off more of the angelic feel.

I kinda toned down the brightness not a whole lot though.

More definition to his face. He needed that.

I understand where you are coming from His head does look a little odd. Not impossible but just doesnt seem right for the pose.

Thank you so much for saying so many nice things about this, especialy about his hair *an area where I have been struggling in* It really means a lot that you think that.

yes they seem to be.
i have a hang up about wings, some people add an extra joint so that wings resemble arms... really throws me.
yours, however, are perfect bird-like representations. well done!

they wernt THAT minor. Lighting is a very very tough thing to do and get to look realistic. Although its not like he went from being an angel to being a demon in the changes XD but I felt that the lighting just wasnt right before. And it really wasnt showing through much of his character.

I didn't mean minor as in amount of effort, I can only Imagine how much work that takes since I can't do it at all But I ment that if you show the before and after pictures after each others, you might not immediately notice all the changes, but you still see that the other one is better.

XD ah yes, you can put a whole lot of effort into something and it would still be minor, I understand that. And I too realize the changes are kind of hard to notice at first glance. Especialy without a comparison. I tried my best to describe them in the description its not always easy to remember what you did X3 especialy with me, I can be so dunce when it comes to short term memory.

I know it's been said, but I have to mention the wings. They are very well done, down to the smallest detail. They look quite realistic. But the wings aren't all that is great, I think the whole picture comes together nicely because of the color of the background and how it compliments the wing color and the subject's color. Another brilliant artwork!

yes his face definately needs A LOT more work. Im not much of a person drawer, and this file size was too small I thinks to help his face ill have to break out the 1 pixle sized brush :3
