The middle would be more of a half curve, but you're on the right track. Of all things, I'm remembering my days of when I drew Dragonair.

In Pokemon it looks more snake like, for a dragon with a pearl on its neck. It might be a reference to the Imugi.

I didn't know it was a Poke'Mon. I had just assumed Dragonair was a book dragon lol. What's an Imugi?

It's from Korean lore. They'd only become real dragons if they caught a pearl that fell from the sky... I believe. Will have to read that again. xD
