Pencil drawing of South Korean actor and filmmaker Lee Jung-jae, here in his role from Squid Game. I had started watching that series when it first came out, but stopped after one episode, although I really liked the concept. Now I finished it, and good thing that I did, because it is really awesome! And the cast was doing an incredible job, too, especially Lee Jung-jae. Can't wait for the second season.

First (finished) drawing in my new, square sketchbook. I absolutely love the format; it is exactly what I need to get more options for reference pictures without the fear of creating an ugly split within the portrait. Unfortunately the paper surface is kind of rough, so I need to work with harder pencils to get everything nice and smooth. I'd say it works okay, if not optimal. Too happy with the new format, though, to complain much ^^
