Jack grew up playing the guitar and loved it. Then one day when he was struggling with a song, Julie walked on over, grabbed the guitar out of his hands, and played the song the way it was meant to be played.

And that was it. All over. Jack was in love, in all the ways a high school senior boy can be. Head over heels and no questions about the future.

He played with Julie and Alex every chance he got after that, and the Fourth of July was just one of many chances to show everyone just how good those girls could play.

Jack loved every minute of that Independence Day. It was Heaven on Earth.
