Official answer: Any missing vital components may be safely assemed to be "just off panel" because that's where she likes to keep them-- that's my lame excuse an' I'm stickin' to it.

Unofficial answer: I'm waaayyy too lazy to assemble an actual realistic DJ setup on account of those are super complicated, so this is essentially a transporter console from the USS Enterprise but with LP turntables. -_-;

But you know, you can just place a random horizontal fader on the deck and so no one would complain about the DJ deck's lacking of a crossfader XD

But, actually what's a lot more vital than a crossfader is a pitch fader. Without that you will just be able to mix musics with exact same tempo. I actually complain about the lack of pitch fader when seeing Vinyl in the show, but crossfader is a much more obvious part on a DJ deck.
