Damn. That is nice midtone.
Not easy to do on plexi.
Well made!

Thank you! One of my goals is to get back to drypoint on plexi. It's a wonderful material, shame it only makes a few prints.

gorgeous, little etching, dammit you so need access to a proper print studio. You're too good for only plastic!

Aww, thank you! I'm working on getting back into printmaking for the next schoolyear.

On plastic? Like plastiboard or plexiglass? Whatever the ground it looks like it took ink really well! Do you bevel your edges though? You are at risk for perforating your paper if you don't!

September 17th, and I dunno. It was just this super-thin flexible plastic sheet. Doesn't hold up to printing well at alllll though. You can get maybe five good prints off it before it flattens.

so how did you make this then?
and is the stuff made for art in the first place, or did you just improvise?

The first five prints were great! So I sold two, gave two away and scanned this one.
I dunno about if it was made for art or not. Our teacher handed it to us. I suspect she improvised. But really, any plastic will do. That one was nice because it was a little softer and easier to dig into with the etching needle.
...and I didn't see the "make more cute animal pictures" comment, hahaha. I dunno, I like the creepy heavy-shadows stuff right now!
