By the way! Siegmeyer and Sieglinde of Catarina have this inverted parental relationship I understand and find really touching, in which the daughter looks like the one who keeps an eye on the father and tends to him the most.

I find these endearing characters, together with few others and especially Solaire, to be the heart of Dark Souls. These encounters encapsulate the will to reach and help each other, the occasions in which we are able to see ourself reflected in the suffering of others like us. A faint beacon of humanity that gives a reason to walk the grim, nonsensical path of life.
