I know, I'm just saying that's why probably why people like it. Because it's a dragon, it came first, and growing up watching Ash's Charizard being awesome probably left a major impact on a lot of people. That's just how I see it, but I don't know. I like to think I know how people think, but I don't know if I do.
Besides, people say Delphox is too simplistic, too.

That's one thing that probably helped with Chesnaught and Greninja. Leakers who picked them showed them off in Pokemon Amie immediately. And Pokemon Amie makes everything look adorable.

To me it's really hard to understand certain people nowadays, even when I think that I do. Yes, fans can be a fickle bunch sometimes but I don't let that bother me much.
I've seen most of these videos/screenshots. At least people can finally shut up about the wand now. Did you see the Sugimori's official art of the final evos yet? You can view them at Bulbapedia.

Yeah, I don't either. I tend to ignore it. Though I'll admit, I used to be like the people complaining when I was much younger. I remember being so dead-set on picking Piplup in 4th gen, then was extremely disappointed in Empoleon, because "it's too robotic looking" as I said then, and I was expecting a more "natural" looking penguin. Who knows? Maybe these people will grow up eventually too and stop having high expectations of the starters evos.
I saw them a few days ago. Chesnaught more or less looks the way I thought it would. Greninja looks awful. But Delphox looks awesome. It's a lot slimmer than I thought it would be, and I think it looks good on it.

I used to be one of them, too. I used to complain a lot when Mewtwo's first Mega Evo was revealed, saying that it looked like "a girly retarted version of Mew" and called it a "butt-head". I've gotten over it now. I still dislike the both of them but I've learned to ignore them. I also hope people will eventually grow up and stop acting like whiny little kids.
They all look pretty good in Sugimori's style especially Delphox. Greninja I'm indifferent about. Yep. Now to wait and see it in that kiddy little anime, but I still like to watch it. XD

I don't mind Y Mewtwo, but X Mewtwo is fugly. And I never really complain about Pokemon designs. There are some I don't care for, but I keep it to myself.
I think Greninja looks a bit amateurish, especially that one hand that's reaching out. Not to mention its eyes are a different color.

Mega Mewtwo X IS ugly. What's up with the fat arms/legs? Mega Mewtwo Y just looks too cute and/or "Mew-ish" to me, imo. XP
Greninja's pose does look kinda strange? I dunno, but I still like it overall.
Yeah. Now that I look back at the Johto episodes, they aren't as exciting as I thought they were when I was a younger.

It's too pointy, and its hands are too big.
I remember Johto taking forever to get through when I was younger. xD And I remember having my Sapphire and waiting for them to get to Hoenn.

It doesn't seem that pointy to me. Only its head and back have pointy parts. I think it's the perspective that's makes its hands look too big, I dunno.

What I'm hearing the most from people as to why they hate Delphox is, "it looks like a total GIRL!"
And I'm thinking, "I can see why you might dislike the design, but it's because it looks "girly" that you hate it?"

Well, you know how fans are. They come up with most pathetic excuses to hate a pokemon. What I hear the most from Delphox haters is that "I HATE DELPHOX! IT DOESN'T HAVE THE STICK ANYMORE!" Really? You guys hate it because it doesn't have the stick anymore? Sorcerers are powerful enough to use their powers without the stick/wand. Don't you guys do research on wizards or watch Harry Potter? Eh, whatever.
I think the design is really interesting and unique. It's a lot better than theat "witch on a broomstick" design that everyone kept making art of. They never once made art of a fakemon Fennekin final evo of it being "Merlin" or "Dumbledore" based. I hope they'll start warming up to Delphox soon. For now, haters gonna hate.

From what I've seen, people don't like it because it's not feminine enough. It's like people were expecting Braixen to evolve into some sexy, furry monstrosity or at least something like this: zerudez.deviantart.com/art/Kal…
Which is a pretty cool design, but a bit bland imho. But that's probably a personal thing. I never liked the Pokemon that only change one or two things and get bigger via evolution (ie Venusaur, Meganium, etc.)
And I'm sorry, but if people were seriously expecting a sexy furry thing, it's their own fault for being disappointed. They were setting themselves up for that one as much as the people expecting Spritzee to evolve into a plague doctor.

Ah, you see that fake evolution seems more male-looking than Delphox. I'm glad that one is fake though, it would've been okay if it weren't for the purple tipped ears and the jelly on a stick part xD

You think so? xD I dunno, I think Delphox is pretty gender-neutral myself.
Forgot to mention, another silly complaint I've seen going around is that Delphox is too anthropomorphic, which is like... so what? There's an entire human-like egg group, it's not like Delphox is the first. Heck, it's not even the first anthro starter (the Chimchar line is in said egg group, and Blaziken is quite anthro, too, and you don't see anybody bitching about them). To me, Delphox looks a little bit like Gardevoir, and most people seem to like Gardevoir.
So saying it's too anthropomorphic is a stupid argument.

I've seen that around too. I think the reason why people hate the fact that it's anthropomorphic is because it looks like a female fox, and furries will jump all over it...

I think it's the other way around. xD It's easier to imagine Braixen as furry bait than Delphox, and people wanted it to stay similar to Braixen so the final evo would be furry bait.
But to me, Delphox looks a bit similar to Gardevoir, and we see a lot of erotic images of her.

Well, I'm sure plenty of people would want it to be furry bait. XD My question is, why? I mean, I'm a furry, but I'm tasteful, and I prefer if erotic art NOT spam my inbox. 
I was talking to someone on youtube that said:
"People were expecting furfag bait. Instead they got a Litch, because they had to keep it unisex. They keep forgetting there will be Male versions of Fennekin."
I responded saying "There's homosexual, erotic, furry art. They will find a way..." Personally, I think it looks more like Arnold from "Hey Arnold", but I've seen both on tumblr... XD

If people want a female Fennekin, they can just restart at the beginning of the game. It's not like it's difficult to get a female starter, I've done it enough times. xD

I personally don't mind if I get a female or male. If Delphox was Fire/Fairy, I was going to name it Natsu XD (You probably don't know what that means, but it's hilarious to me...)

Good, I try not to offend people.
Neither do I. As long as I can get Ditto to breed, it's all good. No idea what I'm nicknaming mine yet, though.
And you never know, maybe Delphox will get a Fire/Fairy Mega evo later on down the road. I could see it happening.

I like Chesnaught, but I tend to like the "bigger" Pokemon like that. Except Emboar. Bleh. And with Greninja, that tongue thing is a major turn-off for me. It's disgusting. Not to mention too pointy.

out of all evos I've seen for fennekin, I'm convinced that this one is official, or at least I hope so.
and now I'm not sure if I want Delphox or Greninja they're both amazing Chesnaught is eh.
Also when I saw a video that each starter will get a unique attack Spiky Shield, Mystical Fire, and Water Shuriken has me super excited

It's just the colours. Chesnaught's design is awesome but the colour choice sucks so badly ._.
