Haha, oh he's everything you would imagine him to be. Watching his interview and just listening to him talk at the autograph stand was fantastic. He has so much to say about everything. Each question he was asked would lead into a brilliany twenty minute story. He covered everything from philosophy, to K9's trousers, to sexy grannies. Incredibly friendly man. A definite must see if he's ever at a local convention.

Haha "sexy grannies" and K9 has trousers? That's great. He sounds like such a great man. You're so lucky to have met him. I would like to some day just to talk to him. My name's Sara so it'd just make my day to hear him say that in his classic, amazing voice.

I'm hoping to travel to the UK sometime this summer possibly in June, baring the unforeseen. Do you know if he or any conventions I might see them at if I were to go? (I apologize for asking so many questions. I don't mean to bother you.)

Ooh, well Mr Baker is doing a convention in early June in Milton Keynes. Some other Who actors there as well. Official site is here: [link] Check it regularly because they keep updating the guest list. It was Collectormania Milton Keynes last year where I met Alex Kingston and Peter Davison. This event isn't as fun or as crazy as the following two, but Tom Baker and other Who guests will be there.

I would recommend the London Film and Comic Con [link] This is one the best UK event for guests. Last year was the one where I met Karen Gillan, Derek Jacobi, Mark Sheppard and Christopher Llyod. It was this event the year before last where I met Liz Sladen.

Finally, a little later on in the year is the Entertainment Media Show [link] This was the one where I met David Tennant, Caitlin Blackwood, Eve Myles, Arthur Darvill, Ian McNeice, Georgia Moffet, etc. That was one hell of a busy weekend!

I'd recommend checking their forums because guests get announced on there before they're put on the homepage. If you do end up going to one, I shall see you there XD

Oh, way awesome! Thanks so much for all the info! I don't know if we'll be able to go in early June (if we go at all, it's all riding on a fellowship my art teacher is applying for), but I will cross my fingers and hope!

Haha, wow, why are all the coolest people in the UK?

That would be the best thing ever if I got to meet all of them and you! Better yet, have cosplay photo shoots. Any of that would just make my life.
