For all of you DNAngel fans out there.
This piece is actually done for the study and admiration of the DNAngel author. This coloring setting is based on the coloring book directly done by the author.
Edit: I used to think the author is a him. Due to the name(in JP is more of a male's name) and self portrait as a man. But after a few confirmation, now I am pretty certain it's a "she." I did search on a few sites, and everything about the author hints me its a "she" before I was made to believe its a "he" anyway... But... if any man can achieve this level of line quality, I will be admiring him. XD It's as equally hard for a man to have feminine quality drawing as a female trying to do muscho drawing.
My critic pointed out to me that the author use more lines than I am... but... hey cut me some slack this is pretty close already.
Medium: ink, photoshop 7
Time: pencil, inking- 1 hour, coloring-3 hours

I found out that the manga has a better story since I had only seen the anime. Though I have a hard time finding it. And one of my friends who read it told me that the other guy that's like Dark (I cannot remember his names, it's been so long) is really not the bad guy like they made him out to be in the anime! I hate it when they screw up story lines like that in animes...

And I have to agree, Yukiru Sugisaki is one of the best anime artists I've seen. *drools all over her artwork*
You just have this amazing ability to "imitate" an artist's style. It's almost uncanny.
Eh, I think a liiiiittle bit of difference is good, so don't worry about the "uses more lines" thing.
