Did I forget to post these here? I've had the idea recently to redesign Jin and Rimworld into a stylized version inspired by chinese art, and media that is inspired by similar culture, like Mulan, Windwaker, Kung fu Panda, (mostly the first 2). Specifically, I kept looking at the swirly smoke effects in Mulan, and thought "what if I could create Rimworld's visual style to emulate that 'stylized swirls' shape design?" The only other thing I could relate to the style I'm thinking of is something iconic like Windwaker's art style, so I take inspiration from those things.And now I want to continue this into something more. Like a graphic novel or webcomic.

Very, very different take on the character. Been there before, where a world/story concept takes a complete 180. I really liked your Jin artwork from before, but this here is a really nice revision. Agree with your note that the rightmost drawing is very good--excellent balance of design elements. The details there are simple, but their flow and shape (the curly hair, the tendrils, the ear etc) work excellently. I especially like how you managed the proportions--the taller body compared to the legs, factoring in with the tendrils that droop down to the waist level. Just very pleasing, visually. Worth some more takes and study, but for the direction you're taking this, this is really well done.
